What - or Who - Do You Want To Be?

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I bet I'm not the only one.

What did you dream about as a child?
What do you daydream about now as you sit through another interminable meeting?

I'm a dreamer, and given the opportunity, I can spend hours and hours doing it. But how could I make a living from dreaming?

Are you counting the minutes each day until you can get home to your hobby - the hobby that means more and more to you every day?

I have a lot of hobbies - but I usually lose interest quickly once I've learned how to do something. I know a lot of people who have a hobby and they are geniuses at that hobby - but they've never thought about how they could make a life around that.

Actually it's not too late. Not for me, and not for you! If you are over 40, you have a wealth of experience to draw from. You are also more likely to know what you don't like - and that makes it easier to focus on what you do love, what brings you joy, and what you could be spending more time doing.

What I absolutely love to do is imagine and dream. I'm very good at it, and I can come up with a gazillion ideas given the slightest provocation. But dreaming doesn't pay bills, that's what I've always been told. I have worked in many jobs and even operated my business using the skills I had learned, and I was good at most of those jobs too. But dreaming was not a big part of any of those things, and there was always something really big missing from my jobs. I took those jobs and built my business because I was convinced dreaming does not pay. Or so I thought!

I found a way to use my imagination with business owners and "wannabe" business owners to create income and to put their passion into business. I am an "outside the job box" career consultant. I help people who are dissatisfied with where they are now in terms of business or job or career to live the lives they only dreamed about. If I can turn my passions into profits, so can you.
